Bureau de Helling is a Dutch research foundation affiliated to the green political party GroenLinks. The name 'de Helling' (the slope) refers to the Dutch expression 'op de helling zetten' which means 'to challenge', 'to review' or 'to call into question'. This is exactly what we aim to do with the intellectual legacy and the ideas of GroenLinks and the green progressive movement in general, to take these ideas further and strengthen their ideological basis.
