Drs. Muhammad Shoaib

PhD Candidate.

Muhammad Shoaib graduated with a BSc degree in Computer Systems Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan in 2008. He then worked as a Network Operations Engineer for Motorola, Pakistan since 2008 till 2010.

He did his masters in Parallel and Distributed Computer Systems from Vrije University Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2012.

He worked on future smart and adaptive outdoor lighting networks for his master thesis in Philips Research, Eindhoven. His master thesis was focused on providing light-on-demand using unreliable cheap sensors without compromising street safety and comfort.

He is currently working as a PhD student in SWELL Project. His research is focused on using wireless sensor networks for the physical and mental well-being of people at work and home.
