‘Kinect in Education’ organized a competition in order to stimulate successful embodied learning applications and games. The educational game ‘Superhero Island 2.0’ by Waag Society’s Creative Learning Lab and created in COMMIT/ was one of the winners.
Mik Langhout submitted the game concept as part of his graduation project said: “It’s the challenge to give ‘customized learning’ a dynamic approach and twist. Luckily we can offer a wide range of interaction forms with the Kinect.”
