Emotify… a game for annotating musical emotion.
The COMMIT/project VIEWW (Virtual Worlds For Well-being) is researching computational models of musical emotion.
To collect listener annotations on a large range of musical pieces, we have created a game called Emotify.
You can help us
You are kindly invited to help us with our research by participating in this game. The fun part of it is that you can learn which emotional content you prefer in music and how you differ from other people in that!
Participating in Emotify takes around 10 minutes (but you can go on if you like):
1. Listen to some nice music in the genre you pick.
2. Tell us how it makes you feel (it's simple; you just choose options from the list).
3. Get some feedback on your choices.
You can play Emotify on Facebook, invite your friends and compare their perception of music to yours. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can play Emotify here.
